Eligible kindergartens across Victoria receive government funding to help reduce the cost of kindergarten for families. Under the Victorian Government’s Free Kinder program, families can receive up to $2,101 per child per year at approved long day care centres (2026 rate). The funding is automatically applied to your fees, so there is no need to submit a separate claim.
