Explorers’ Club: Little Stars 2 – 3 Year Old Program

Little Stars programs

Wombat Room (2 - 3 Year Old)

The Wombat Room is designed specifically for toddlers(this room holds 12 at a time), a time when children are developing rapidly, both physically and mentally. During this period, toddlers begin to communicate more effectively and expand their vocabulary, which opens them up to new challenges and opportunities for exploration.

At Little Stars Early Education Centre, we understand the importance of supporting children during this magical phase, which is why our educators have developed a comprehensive program of play-based learning activities to help each child explore their own interests and strengths.

Our experienced staff observe and facilitate the interests of each child through a range of hands-on experiences, group activities, and language sessions. These activities are carefully designed to promote cognitive, social, and emotional development, while also encouraging the development of self-help skills and independence.

In the Wombat Room, we believe that learning to work and play as part of a group is a crucial component of a child’s development. Our educators work closely with each child to help them develop these important skills, while also fostering a sense of belonging and community within the room.

Overall, the Wombat Room provides a safe, nurturing environment for toddlers to grow and thrive, with activities and experiences tailored to their individual needs and interests.
